The Rectory, Wimbledon – Grade II Listed Manor House

Value: £350k – £400k
Client: Harry Neal

Corrigenda were selected by Harry Neal Contractors to undertake the Mechanical services installation works at ‘The Rectory’.

The Rectory in Wimbledon is a grade II listed mansion undergoing complete modernisation. The work required sensitive attention to the existing structure and detailed design complimenting the original parts of the building with a modern heating and hot/cold water system.

The scope of works included Heating, hot and cold water services, ventilation, sanitaryware. The heating required underfloor (wet and electrical) and convector fancoils to blend in with the existing oak panelling.

The substantial boiler room installation being more in line with a commercial system than domestic, with twin 85kw high efficiency condensing boiler and twin 500litre unvented hot water to provide redundancy. New gas and water underground infrastructure was installed to feed the refurbished building.

The client requirements were very demanding, with exacting standards of workmanship and Project delivery. The change process required flexibility and rapid solutions due to the restrictions with existing building structure.
