This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to further their career in a developing area of an established business. The successful applicant will join a growing electrical installation department delivering all types of electrical works across the business. Based from the Segensworth office the role primarily covers, but is not restricted to, Hampshire and Surrey region.

Primary work environment will include but not be limited to

  • Schools (Local authority and Private)

  • Private Sector
  • Police Stations
  • Nursing Homes
  • Leisure Centres

 

The Role Entails

  • Leading & managing projects on site whilst also undertaking installation works
  • Managing sub-contractors and fellow engineers on site and delegating tasks
  • Replacement of single phase and three phase distribution boards with incorporated metering
  • Replacement lighting systems to LED and incorporation of sensors and DALI control
  • Installation of a variety of containment systems, both metal & plastic
  • Running new sub mains in SWA cabling
  • Installation of new power systems
  • Testing of new installations
  • Testing of existing installations
  • Overtime opportunities
  • Out of hours working required from time to time

 

Minimum Applicant Requirements

  • UK valid electrical qualifications, minimum qualified electrician and completed an electrical apprenticeship to a level 3 standard
  • 17th Edition
  • In date ECS card
  • Competent to test electrical installations, at both the initial verification stage and the periodic inspection stage
  • Able to undertake out of hours working and weekend working when required
  • Current UK approved driving license.
  • Must be able to demonstrate suitable experience, and have references taken
  • Will require to be DBS checked and approved

Basic salary and entitlements

Competitive salary – £28,000 – £33,000 dependent on experience
