Electrician – Small Works/Projects

Corrigenda are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated electrical engineer to carry out a broad range of refurbishment/installation works on electrical systems. The role will be based from our Segensworth office, however will cover sites in, but not limited to, Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex.
The work will be predominantly in commercial properties in the education, private & public sectors.
Key Responsibilities Include
(but not limited to):
• Replacement of single and 3 phase distribution boards
• Replacement lighting systems to LED and incorporation of new controls / sensors etc
• Installation of a variety of containment systems, both metal & plastic
• Running new sub mains in both singles within containment / SWA cabling
• Installation of new power systems
• Testing of new / existing installations
• Diagnose faults on various electrical systems such as lighting, small power, emergency
lighting, other electrical services in buildings and carry out necessary remedial repairs.
• Small remedial tasks such as emergency light replacement, single socket installations etc
• Working at height to carry out maintenance repairs on lights in halls, lobby areas and
streetlight etc. (All necessary equipment / training will be provided)
• Work flexible working hours to suit business requirements
• Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, other engineers, end users on site and
general public at all times
• Ability to work effectively on own or as part of team to ensure we meet our client contract expectations
• A flexible approach to supporting other resources as required
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
Essential
• A suitable City and Guilds or equivalent NVQ qualification
• NVQ Level 3 / AM2 in relevant Electrical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Flexibility in working out of hours / weekends to meet client requirements
• Experience in a similar role and working sectors
• Recognised Health and Safety Training
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
• Be able to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation
• Full driving licence/willingness to travel
• Pass DBS / Police background checks for working in schools / Police stations

• Test & Inspection Qualification
• 18th Edition
• Current CSCS Card
• CITB SSSTS
