Resource Scheduler - Hampshire County Council

Permanent / 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Salary up to £26,000, (subject to knowledge and experience)
Location: Based at Winchester
Reporting to: Office Manager

Corrigenda are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Resource Scheduler.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the organisation and prioritisation of work schedules for multi-disciplined engineers / sub-contractors delivering service in the field and monitoring progression of those works. The  successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, have excellent problem solving and decision-making skills along with excellent  IT knowledge skills, specifically of MS Office packages.

They will be highly motivated, punctual, well-presented, and will have excellent people and communication skills  They will have flexible and responsive approach, able to react to rapidly changing scenarios whilst remaining calm and professional.

Key Responsibilities Include
(but not limited to):

• Scheduling Planned and Reactive Maintenance tasks
• Monitoring and assigning urgent Reactive Maintenance tasks, ensuring that they are attended to in line with Client SLAs and expectations
• Answering inbound calls and creating jobs on CAFM system
• Raising purchase orders for materials and subcontractors
• WIP management to ensure that reactive maintenance tasks are progressed and completed in accordance with Client SLA’s
• Updating work in progress (WIP) reports on weekly basis to ensure these are kept up to date for reporting to client
• Updating client CAFM system with works updates for in house and sub-contracted works as required to produce client monthly reports
• Liaising with contract managers and engineers to ensure that Planned and Reactive Maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with Client SLA s
• Liaising with external contractors to attend site and get updates on work in progress
• Ensuring that only appropriately qualified or experienced staff carry out services allocated to them efficiently, safely and to standard
• Daily “housekeeping” of CAFM systems including checking for unassigned tasks, chasing up late paperwork etc
• Any other tasks, within capabilities, as instructed by line manager

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
• IT literate – must be confident in all Microsoft Office Packages and have experience of working on bespoke CAFM systems
• Previous experience in quality assurance and/or compliance
• Ability to work as part of a small team and to be a” Team Player’ whilst demonstrating initiative and ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent listening and questioning skills
