Corrigenda are proud to announce we have received a certificate in BAFE SP203-1 Maintenance of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems from BAFE. BAFE is the independent registration body for Third Party Certificated fire safety service providers across the UK. All BAFE Registered Companies have been independently assessed to determine their competency to confidently deliver specific fire safety services.
We have been awarded a certificate in Maintenance of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems. This means we can carry out regular inspections by technicians with a comprehensive understanding of the appropriate British Standards. This is to check the system remains suitable for the building and fully operational, ready in the event of fire.
It is a legal requirement for all non-domestic/commercial properties to (where appropriate) equip the building with fire detectors and fire alarms. It is also part of these requirements to ensure they are maintained appropriately, ready to activate in the event of a fire.
We have also been awarded an Alarm Systems accreditation by SSAIB. The Security Systems and Alarm Inspection Board (SSAIB) is the leading certificate body for organisations providing security system and services, fire detection and alarm systems, telecare systems and services, manned security services and monitoring services. Certification with SSAIB is a mark of excellence, Third-party certification plays an increasingly important role in enabling firms to compete in the marketplace and access to some market sectors may be conditional on having third-party certification.
Paul Spencer, CEO of Corrigenda, has said “We are extremely proud to have extended our in-house service capabilities to incorporate this service discipline”
