Job Summary
The Resource Scheduler plays a key role in coordinating and managing reactive maintenance and quoted works to ensure timely completion in line with client SLAs and expectations. This position involves scheduling engineer and subcontractor resources efficiently, monitoring work progress, and maintaining accurate records within the CAFM system.
Key Responsibilities Include
(but not limited to):
• Scheduling reactive maintenance tasks and quoted works.
• Prioritising and assigning urgent jobs to meet client SLAs.
• Handling inbound calls and updating job details in the CAFM system.
• Raising purchase orders for materials and subcontractors.
• Managing work in progress (WIP) and producing weekly reports for client updates.
• Liaising with technical managers, client relationship managers, engineers, and external
contractors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensuring qualified personnel are allocated appropriately and tasks are completed safely and to standard.
• Performing daily system housekeeping and addressing outstanding tasks or paperwork.
• Supporting additional tasks as directed by the line manager.
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional when resolving urgent issues.

• Excellent attention to detail

• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
• IT Literate with strong Microsoft Word, Excel skills and knowledge
• Ability to work as part of a small team and to be a” Team Player’ whilst demonstrating initiative and ability to work independently
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent listening and questioning skills
