FULL TIME – 40 hours per week

Location: Frequent travel between our Whiteley, Portsmouth & Segensworth Offices.

Job summary
As the Technical Services Support Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our Technical Services Support function. Working closely with Technical Services Managers, Client Relationship Managers, Commercial teams and senior leadership, you’ll ensure our scheduling, planning, compliance and administration functions operate efficiently while continually identifying opportunities to improve service delivery. This is a varied management role combining operational leadership, performance analysis, resource planning, compliance management and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Include
(but not limited to):

• Leading and developing our Scheduling Supervisors, Schedulers and PPM Administration
teams.
• Managing workloads, resources and team performance across operational support functions.
• Driving engineer utilisation and scheduling efficiency.
• Monitoring PPM compliance, operational backlogs and recovery plans.
• Producing and analysing KPI, SLA and operational performance reports.
• Supporting Technical Services Managers with labour planning and resource forecasting.
• Ensuring statutory maintenance compliance and CAFM data accuracy.
• Overseeing subcontractor administration, onboarding and performance monitoring.

• Supporting new contract mobilisations, asset reconciliations and PPM variations.
• Reviewing operational risks and implementing service improvement initiatives.
• Attending client meetings and supporting contract performance reviews.
• Working with senior management to improve reporting, automation and business processes.
• Supporting commercial performance through WIP reviews, cost control and operational
efficiencies.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

• Proven experience managing and developing teams.
• Experience within Facilities Management, Maintenance or Building Services.
• Strong understanding of planned and reactive maintenance operations.
• Experience using CAFM systems and operational management software.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and identify trends.
• Experience producing KPI reports and performance dashboards.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercial awareness with an understanding of operational performance and cost control.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem solving.
