Air Conditioning Engineer
FULL TIME – 40 hours per week
Reporting to: Technical Service Manager

Due to our continuous growth, Corrigenda are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated air conditioning engineer to carry out a broad range of planned and reactive air conditioning tasks across the Contracts.
The air conditioning engineer will ensure that jobs are completed to a high standard within a timely manner, as well as providing great customer service to our clients.
The air conditioning engineer will promptly escalate any issues to the admin team and Technical Service Manager to ensure contract requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities Include
(but not limited to):
• Carry out planned and fault diagnostic work to various air conditioning systems and equipment such as split, VRV and VRF and heat pumps
• Service air handling units, fan convertors and extractor fans
• General mechanical repairs and weekly PPM tests
• Use of Building and Management Systems
• Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, other engineers, end users on site and general public at all times
• Work on own or as part of team to meet required deadlines and contract performance standards
• Liaise with the admin team to ensure work is achieved within the scheduled time frame
• Comply to the company’s policies and procedures
• Complete relevant documentation accurately and within a timely manner
• Work flexible working hours to suit business requirements
• Comply to H&S policies and procedures to ensure work is carried out safely at all times, including working at height
• Liaise with sub-contractors to complete necessary repairs as required
• Escalate issues to Supervisor/Manager immediately
• Represent the company in a professional and friendly manner at all times
• To collaborate with other engineers and site staff to arrange site access to required working areas
• A flexible approach to supporting other resources as required
• Any other tasks required by company within skill set / experience
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
Essential
• Recognised industry standard qualification
• Be able to operate smart devices and to complete electronic documentation
• Ability to set up and programme AC controls
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Full UK driving licence
• Pass DBS / Police background checks for working in schools / Police stations
Desirable
• Manufacturers training courses
• Being able to demonstrate experience in similar role and working sectors
• Basic safe electrical working awareness
• City & Guilds F Gas & ODS Regulations
• City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Systems
