We are seeking a talented Building Management System (BMS) Engineer to join our team and build an in-house capability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with common BMS systems such as Honeywell Trend, Tridium, Siemens Desigo, Johnson Controls Metasys, and other industry-leading platforms. As a BMS Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining BMS solutions for a variety of commercial and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities Include
(but not limited to):
• Design and configure BMS systems to meet client requirements and project specifications.
• Program and commission BMS controllers, devices, and sensors for optimal performance.
• Conduct system integration and interoperability testing with third-party devices and protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BMS hardware, software, and network communication.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and internal stakeholders on BMS operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in building automation and energy management.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (5 years) working with common BMS systems such as Honeywell Trend, Tridium, Siemens Desigo, Johnson Controls Metasys, etc.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, building controls, and automation principles.
• Proficiency in programming languages and protocols commonly used in BMS applications (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
• Familiarity with energy management principles and sustainability practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Energy Manager, Building Automation System Engineer) are a plus.
