Building Services Engineer
FULL TIME – 40 hours per week
Salary: £32,483 to £39,500 (subject to knowledge and experience)

Corrigenda are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Building Services engineer to carry out a broad range of planned and reactive tasks in Surrey & surrounding regions.
The work will be predominantly in commercial properties in the education, private & public sectors
Key Responsibilities Include
(but not limited to):
• Carry out planned and fault diagnostic work to various building control systems and other associated equipment within the properties we maintain, including AHU’s, Pumps, MCC, Pressurisation Units and FCU
• Participation of the out of hours call out rota
• Work flexible hours to suit business requirements
• Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, other engineers, end users on site and public at all times
• Ability to work effectively on own or as part of team to ensure we meet our client contract expectations
• To collaborate with other engineers and site staff to arrange site access to required working areas
• A flexible approach to supporting other resources as required
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
Essential
• A suitable City and Guilds or equivalent NVQ qualification
• NVQ Level 3 / AM2 in relevant Electrical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 18th Edition
• Proven Controls experience, including building optimisers, associated sensors and controls
• Proven Building Plant experience including, AHU, FCU’s, Pumps, Pressurisation units,
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
• Ability to work well on own or as part of team
• Be able to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation
• Full driving licence
• Pass DBS background checks for working in schools
Desirable
• Test & Inspection Qualification
• Proven mechanical knowledge
• Proven BMS knowledge and skill sets
• AC Experience
• Boiler Experience
• Experience in a similar role and working sectors
• A basic knowledge and understanding of heating and ventilation controls would be an advantage
