Mechanical Supervisor – Small Works/Projects
FULL TIME – 40 hours per week

Corrigenda are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Mechanical Supervisor to carry out a broad range of refurbishment/installation works on mechanical systems. The role is based either in our Fareham or Camberley office, but will require travelling to sites across Hampshire, Surrey, Dorset and West Sussex.
The work will be predominantly in commercial properties in the education, private & public sectors
Key Responsibilities Include
(but not limited to):
• Oversee day to day operations on site, whilst also working on tools, to ensure smooth running of job
• Regular liaison with Projects Managers / Supervisors to ensure correct labour / subcontractor resource and materials are available on site when needed
• Ensure Health & Safety risk and method statements are adhered to by other Corrigenda operatives and sub-contractors
• Provide technical / practical support to other engineers
• Carry out installation of commercial boilers / heaters in plant rooms.
• Used to installing pipework / radiator installations in materials such copper, stainless steel, welded steel and screwed steel.
• Experience using pressed (crimped) copper / stainless steel fittings up to 100m dia.
• Work flexible working hours to suit business requirements
• Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, other engineers, end users on site and general public at all times
• Ability to work effectively on own or as part of team to ensure we meet our client contract expectations
• A flexible approach to supporting other resources as required
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
Essential:
• A suitable City and Guilds or equivalent NVQ qualification
• NVQ Level 3 / AM2 in relevant Electrical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Flexibility in working out of hours / weekends to meet client requirements
• Experience in a similar role and working sectors
• Recognised Health and Safety Training
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
• Be able to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation
• Full driving licence/willingness to travel
• Pass DBS / Police background checks for working in schools / Police stations
• Test & Inspection Qualification
• 18th Edition
• Current CSCS Card
• CITB SSSTS
