Due to our continuous growth, Corrigenda are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated electrical engineer to carry out a broad range of planned electrical tasks across Hampshire and the surrounding regions.
The work will be predominantly in commercial properties in the education, private & public sectors.
Key Responsibilities Include
(but not limited to):
• Carry out planned and fault diagnostic work to various lighting and power distribution
systems
• Working at height to carry out planned maintenance repairs on lights in halls, lobby areas
and streetlight etc. (All necessary equipment / training will be provided)
• Completing remedial works that you identify at the PPM visit if possible
• Participation of the out of hours call out rota
• Work flexible hours to suit business requirements
• Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, other engineers, end users on site and
general public at all times
• Ability to work effectively on your own or as part of team to ensure we meet our client
contract expectations
• To collaborate with other engineers and site staff to arrange site access to required working
areas
• A flexible approach to supporting other resources as required
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
Essential
• A suitable City and Guilds or equivalent NVQ qualification
• NVQ Level 3 / AM2 in relevant Electrical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 18th Edition
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
• Ability to work well on your own or as part of team
• Be able to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation
• Full UK driving license
• Pass DBS / Police background checks for working in schools / Police stations
Desirable
• Test & Inspection Qualification
• Experience in a similar role and working sectors
• A basic knowledge and understanding of heating and ventilation controls would be an
advantage
