Due to continued growth, Corrigenda are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated
commercial plumber to carry out a broad range of planned and reactive plumbing tasks,
predominantly within our Southampton General Hospital contract and its surrounding regions
Key Responsibilities Include
(but not limited to):
• Carry out planned and reactive work to various heating, cold and hot water systems.
• Participation of the out of hours call out rota
• Work flexible hours to suit business requirements
• Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, other engineers, end users on site and
general public at all times
• Ability to work effectively on own or as part of team to ensure we meet our client contract expectations
• To collaborate with other engineers and site staff to arrange site access to required working areas
• Where required contact suppliers for replacement parts and cost information
• A flexible approach to supporting other resources as required
• Any other tasks required by the company within skill set/experience
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
Essential
• NVQ Level 2 / 3 plumbing City and Guilds qualification (or equivalent)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
• Be able to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation
• Full driving licence
• Proven experience in both Commercial & Domestic environments
• Pass DBS / Police background checks for working in schools / Police stations
Desirable
• Water Industry Qualification
• Experience in a similar role and working sectors• A good knowledge and understanding of heating and water systems
• Experience working on various pipe material and size
• Unvented water systems qualification
