Sales Ledger Administrator 

Reporting To: Sales Ledger Supervisor

Salary: Competitive

Full Time: 40 hours per week.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Sales Ledger Administrator to join our Finance team. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely invoicing and supporting the business in meeting key financial deadlines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and administering client invoices and coordinating with operational teams to ensure financial deadlines are met. You will also act as a point of contact for invoicing queries, providing timely and professional administrative support across the organisation.

Responsibilities will Include
(but not limited to):

• Prepare and raise accurate client sales invoices in line with contractual agreements.
• Perform daily invoicing activities and ensure all submissions meet agreed deadlines.
• Accurately price jobs in accordance with contract-specific terms.
• Prepare and submit monthly applications for client approval.
• Manage and resolve invoicing queries efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain and update CAFM systems with relevant financial data.
• Chase subcontractors and suppliers for outstanding costs and invoices to ensure timely processing.
• Work towards departmental KPIs and performance targets.
• Provide general administrative support to the wider team.
• Offer team cover during periods of holiday or absence.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

Essential Skills & Experience
• Strong IT proficiency, particularly advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience managing high volumes of administrative work.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
