Southampton Solent

Project description

Project 1:
New art rooms in the Above Bar Street campus in Southampton. Provided new heating, cooling and ventilation systems within the art areas. The heating and cooling was provided by a roof mounted heat pump with associated heat recovery ventilation unit also located on the roof. We also installed a new control system to monitor faults, temperatures and status. This control system can be remotely accessed from the main university. Hot and cold water to all outlets with new pump waste systems.

Project 2:
John Everett Building on the main campus. The installation of a new plate heat exchanger, hot water pipework and control system. The new plate heat exchanger system was connected to the local Geo thermal pipework serving Southampton city centre.

Project 3:
Sir James Matthews Building on the main campus. The replacement, due to corrosion, of all chilled water and heating pipework serving roof mounted air handling units with new screwed and welded steel pipework. All pipework pressure tested and re-lagged with weatherproof PIB lagging complete with valve covers. Works fast tracked and successfully completed in clients four week window between heating and cooling season.
